Control Room

Moose Studio started with the purchase of a Carvin* 1688 Mixing board in 1984. The board has 16 inputs with 8 outputs. Then the 1/2" Tascam* 38 - 8 Track Recorder was added with DBX* 150 type I noise reduction on all channels. For mix downs to 2 Tracks we have a Tascam* 32 also with DBX* 150 type I noise reduction.

 

 

Then we added a PC with 2 (Two) M-Audio* Delta 1010LT* Sound Cards for 16 Tracks at once recording. Also Cakewalk's* Sonar Premium* which allows Digital Recording with MIDI. Unlimited tracks Total with Overdubs.

 

In 2023 we upgraded to a Motu 16A .

 

In 2024 We are going mobile.

There is no real control room because of limited space.

 

All mix downs are with Tannoy* PBM-6.5 Monitor Speakers. Tracks are then mastered to your format.
